Hilton (NYSE:
HLT) announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Nice Centre Iconic, a stylish and
modern hotel nestled on the picturesque French Riviera. Guests at DoubleTree by
Hilton Nice Centre Iconic find themselves perfectly positioned for exploration
of the local area and beyond.
Ideally
situated in the heart of Nice, the Promenade des Anglais along the
Mediterranean coast and the fairytale Old Town, with rich museums and the
must-see Castle Hill, are only a short walk from the hotel. DoubleTree by
Hilton Nice Centre Iconic is also well connected, less than 15 minutes from the
Nice Côte d’Azur airport and offers direct access to the Nice-Ville Train
Station. Cannes and Monaco are less than 25 minutes away making it an ideal
base for discovering the glamorous Blue Coast.
The
hotel is set in an exciting new mixed-use development set to be a lifestyle
destination in the city with entertainment, retail and hospitality experiences.
The complex cuts a complementary yet contrasting modern figure in the city with
its unusual design inspired by Azurite crystals, which are said to create a
positive aura. Upon arriving at the property guests can expect an inviting
atmosphere and airy feel as they make their way to the fifth floor for
check-in, where they will be greeted by breathtaking views and a signature
DoubleTree cookie welcome. The hotel itself boasts 105 stylishly appointed
guest rooms, featuring warm and contemporary furnishings with a French twist.
Families will appreciate the spacious family rooms, accommodating up to five
guests. The fitness center and event space also offer stunning sea views, while
the terrace and Iconic Bar provide panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean
coastline.
With
a world-renowned culinary scene, Nice has plenty to offer from delicious local
cuisines and prestigious vineyards within easy reach. Later this year there
will be a new addition to the foodie scene, the 5th-floor panoramic restaurant,
Pesca, which will open its doors at the hotel for a unique shared dining
experience. With a continuously evolving menu, minimal waste, and the best
selection of fresh fish available daily, Pesca presents its one-of-a-kind
‘Theatre of Fish’ concept, where guests will be entertained by the resident
fishmongers and dynamic pricing set up.
“We’re
thrilled to be adding to our portfolio in the French Riviera, bringing the
fast-growing DoubleTree
by Hilton brand to this in-demand destination. Nice continues to
attract millions of visitors annually as one of the largest cities in France,
with its UNESCO World Heritage Status, strong transport links and stunning
coastal setting. Whether for business or leisure, guests can expect a warm
welcome paired with contemporary accommodations at DoubleTree by Hilton Nice
Centre Iconic,” said David Kelly, senior vice president, Continental Europe,
Hilton.
The
hotel is the third Hilton property to open on the French Riviera since the
brand debuted in in the region last year. Joining Canopy
by Hilton Cannes and Columbus Hotel Monte-Carlo, Curio Collection by Hilton,
