IHG
Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce the respected recognition of MICHELIN
Keys awarded to 14 of its luxury and lifestyle properties in Europe and Asia.
The MICHELIN Key serves as the hotel equivalent to the MICHELIN Star awarded to
restaurants and recognizes hotels for providing exceptional stays that meet the
highest standards of hospitality. This included a trio of hotels receiving the
elevated 2 MICHELIN Keys distinction:
·
Six Senses Samui
·
Six Senses Yao Noi
·
InterContinental Phuket Resort
The
MICHELIN Guide’s inaugural hotel awards program, MICHELIN Keys, highlights
hotels offering so much more than a room for the night, with key recipients
selected from over 5,000 hotels included within the long-standing MICHELIN
Guide. Distinction is based on five criteria: excellence in architecture and
design, service quality, overall personality and character, value for the price
and meaningful contributions to the local community. Among the 14 awarded IHG
properties, eleven received 1 Key, while 3 earned 2 Keys. This achievement
reinforces IHG Hotels & Resorts' position as a leader in luxury
hospitality.
The
following IHG Hotels & Resorts properties have been recognized on MICHELIN
Guide's inaugural list:
